Aluminum Square Bar Type 2024-T4 2024-T351 ASTM-B211 Hardware, fittings and structural components made of these aircraft alloys are used extensively in the aircraft and transportation industries. Used where good strength the weight ratio is required, this high-strength Aluminum has excellent fatigue resistance and can be machined a fine finish. It may be formed in the annealed condition and can be heat treated. It is rated only fair for welding, although spot welding and seam welding are commonly practiced.
